This happens to be a reasonably-priced, starter-level piece of gym equipment. The AR2 Tempest, which sells for approximately £300, is crafted from strong oblong tubular steel. Its rowing rail is made from square steel and features a high-chromed finish. This rower includes transport wheels on its front frame end caps, making it easier to move, plus the main frame folds for easy storage. Because of rear frame support caps, the rower will sit flat. This frame has a silver-coloured, epoxy powder coated finish that is chip resistant and quite durable. The rower features single gym-style chain rowing action and the rowing arm is a single 25mm bar with high-density foam padded grips. There is a 12-fan, 50cm resistance system. The machine also has a 20-roller free-wheel bearing, and the bearing features a composite cord which is high-resistance, multi-strand material. The resistance is proportionate to its speed.

The seat on the AR2 Tempest is ergonomically shaped and contoured. Expanded polyurethane foam makes up the black-coloured seat. The seat carriage is covered in a composite nylon covered bearing and made from pressed mild steel. The seat features a glide adjustment as well as upper and lower seat rollers. There are large, black footplates which pivot and also have fitted straps adjustable by Velcro hook and loop fasteners. Time, distance, theoretical calories burned, strokes per minute, and speed are just a few of the important aspects of a workout that you’ll find on the AR2 display console.
