So you’re planning on making an investment in a new digital TELEVISION antenna but are unsure of which type to get. Take a note of where you are counting on installing your new antenna. Is the property found in a major urban town or one of its many suburbs? Massive towns like San Francisco, Long Island, and Philadelphia have a tendency to broadcast all the local network televisions ‘ stations through a single, central tower. In addition, most suburbs of a major urban town are found inside thirty to forty miles of the major city, so an inside antenna, in this example, would be a great option.
An inside antenna’s range can reach up to 50 miles and is OK for your in-city or in-metropolitan business or home. Designed for in-home use on top of your entertainment system or TELEVISION stand, the indoor antenna is compact and its updated design is definitely not a sore sight to the eyes. Another area you can install your antenna is your attic. Though not recommended by some, the fact still is that it has worked for many before, and it may work for you. As the roof comprises countless building materials, which include metal and aluminum siding, it will meddle with your antenna’s signal transmission, but placing your antenna in an optimum location away from these metal and aluminum building materials will greatly improve its prospects of getting a clear and direct line of sight to the broadcast towers.
