Countless People Are Attracted To Celebrity Style And Fashions And Want To Look As Good As Their Idols, But Appearing To Be Perfect Constantly Is More Dictated By Your Finances Than Your Body
The cult of ‘celebrity’ has done a great deal to ruin the self esteem of many youngsters who consider the airbrushed images published in magazines as the look to aim for . Unfortunately, the majority of those viewing the pictures don’t understand that there are other things going on in creating these impossible looks.
So how does a celebrity looks like she does? I know that it isn’t always women who are such damaging role models, but most are, and it’s most likely to be a young female with a poor view of her own body who is looking at them.
Firstly, the photo itself has most likely been amended using photo manipulation software. That spot appearing on the end of her nose? Gone. That shadow under the chin? Deleted. It’s very easy – I do it myself in photos I take when I go out with friends!
Even if the photo hasn’t been tweaked, or if you happen to see a celebrity whilst out and about, nearly all of those who are so highly thought of without question have a personal trainer putting them through their paces on a daily basis to check that they stay in shape. They probably have a cook who makes sure they only ever eat things that are healthy for them (these folk don’t have to do the rushed microwaved ready meal between arriving home from work and starting on the ironing!). They probably have an individual working for them who makes sure that their skincare and hair care is the best on the market, and their personal stylist will make sure that all the things they wear will make them look good. In reality, if you can afford to pay for it, you can manage to look good.
Naturally, there are also other things you can do to improve your looks if money isn’t an issue. No need for the fake tan – just spend a lot of time on holiday keeping the real tan looking good (one of your minions will doubtless tell you when you need a break from the sun’s rays and lead you to the sauna for a nice chilled out detox session). You don’t want to wear glasses – just pay for expensive Laser eye surgery to correct any eye defect. In any case, you’re perfect – you don’t admit to defects! And if you’re one of those celebrities who tries hard to look a bit edgy, there are even Laser eye treatments which can tattoo your cornea, making you look either very trendy or quite stupid depending on the attitude of your fans!
The problem is, it’s all such a sham! In reality these celebrities have generally starved themselves into their Size Zero designer garb, and the smallest mistake relating to any part of their look will have the paparazzi jumping with glee and a dozen women’s magazine will print photos of them pointing out their cellulite, spotty nose, extra inches round the stomach and the spinach stuck between their teeth. And who needs that?!
It is so much better to believe in the person YOU are. Yes, please do look after yourself – that’s just being sensible. But if you are only five feet tall there isn’t any surgery or training or diet in the world that can give you the same build as a supermodel! If you happen to be naturally pale, don’t risk skin cancer attempting to get a tan. Even if you don’t suffer from serious health problems because of excessive exposure to the sun, it can still change the look of your skin dramatically anyway.
Don’t be vain about wearing glasses – they’re a lot less expensive than Laser eye surgery, and in these days of designer frames (cult of celebrity again!), they can actually enhance your looks. I have a couple of musician friends who are considered to be very good looking guys and if occasionally they wear their glasses rather than their contact lenses, they usually have female fans (and quite a few of the men as well!) commenting in very flattering terms. I don’t suppose they will be rushing to pay for Laser eye treatment at any point!
