Photoshop Brushes – Create and Customize
There are two ways to create a Photoshop brush: from scratch or using the settings from a previously designed image. Provided you have the rights, you can actually create a brush from someone else’s image too.
To create your new brush, you’ll have to start a new document in Photoshop and then make the image you want to save or use as your new brush. The image will have to be on a white backdrop and itself be black. Next, select the image and then go up to the Edit menu. Choose ‘Define Brish Preset’ from the list of options and name your new brush. The new brush you’ve just named will show up on your brushes palette.
